From our inception

From the inception of Bible Baptist Church in 1980 until today, thousands upon thousands of dollars have been sent to the mission field from our church ministry to further the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.  Missions has been and will continue, God willing, to be at the heart of our existence as one of the Lord’s churches.

Obedience to the Lord

We want to be obedient to the Lord’s commission to His churches (Matt. 28:19,20; Mk. 16:15; Lk. 25:47,48; Acts 1:8). Our prayer is that we will follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit as we seek to do our part of preaching the gospel to every creature throughout the world. It is also our desire that we would go to a foreign field if the Lord would have us to do that, but certainly that we all would go to our present field, the city of Nashua, NH.

Missions is church planting

We desire to see New Testament churches planted here in New England, throughout the United States, and into the uttermost parts of the earth.  It is the local church which is the “pillar and ground of the truth” (I Tim. 3:15) and God’s plan is for churches to go to every nation making disciples (repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ) then baptizing these new believers and finally teaching them the “all things” of Scripture (Matt. 28:19,20; cf. Acts 9:31; et al).   Therefore, Missions is church planting!

Missionary conferences

Each year in the late fall,  BBC holds a Faith Promise Missions Conference.  During this special time on our calendar, a unique emphasis on World-Wide Missions is put before the church body and the ministries of specific missionaries are presented.  It is a special time each year that we look forward to with much anticipation.  At the conclusion of each Missions Conference, each willing family/individual commits to God by faith a dollar amount that they believe God would have them, through BBC, to give specifically towards the finacial support of missionaries that have gone to a foreign or home field to preach the gospel and plant NT churches.  It is our prayer that God would bless the faith of BBC as we endeavour to do our part to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ!
