Open House Sunday & Fall Revival

In late September, we invited Evangelist David Sommerdorf & his wonderful family to Nashua, NH. It was his first trip to New England. We had four meetings under the tent and were thrilled with the meetings. Our church had so enjoyed this time with the Sommerdorf’s and the preaching was a tremendous help to many of us. We had a number of visitors over the course of the meetings and were thrilled to be a help to many of them, as well.

Old–Fashion Sunday

We would think of ourselves as an “Old–Fashioned Baptist Church,” so, we decided to actually dress up this way, as well. In late August, we had a great day in the Lord as we dressed up “Old–fashioned” style (our own interpretations, of course), had dinner on the grounds, sang a whole bunch, and had some “Old-fashioned” preaching from Bro. Steve Schwanke. It was a day that we will remember for some time.

BBC Bible Conference on the Bible

What a wonderful “Conference on the Bible” we had! It truly was a needful conference. BBC wants to fulfill our responsibility of guarding and defending God's pure words. Dr. J. Michael Bates (Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newington, CT), spoke all day Sunday April 2. He was joined by Dr. Thomas Strouse (Dean of Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary in Newington, CT), on Monday and Tuesday night. We had a wonderful attendence from our church body, as well as, a number of pastors and members from surrounding areas. May God help us to be faithuful to His preserved words!

BBC Sleighride

What a wonderful day for a Sleighride! The weather was just perfect. Those of us that went on the sleighride had such a great time of fellowship and just plain fun! The Lord showered us with big, huge snowflakes as we followed the winding trail back to the campfire. We then indulged ourselves with hot chocolate and smores. It truly was a “Charming” day.

BBC Fresh Start Conference

In January of 2006, we wanted to start the year off right. Thus, we had our “Fresh Start Conference.” It was a refreshing time of preaching and instruction from two wonderful preachers. Bro. Joel Grassi came and preached a number of wonderful messages on John the Baptist. Pastor Bobby Mitchell (Pastor of Mid-Coast Baptist Church in Brunswick, ME) joined Bro. Grassi on Monday and Tuesday night. What a thrill to have these two young preachers with us and hear the great preaching of the Word of God. There is no better way to start off the new year!
